AUGUST 9 EXPOS-GIANTS IN MONTREAL CANCELLED

MONTREAL –

The Montreal Expos today announced that the rescheduled game against the Giants in Montreal on August 9 has been cancelled as a result of discussions among the Expos, the Giants, their players, the Players' Association and Major League Baseball.

The proposed August 9 game created difficult travel conditions for the Giants and the game will now be rescheduled to August 18, 2004 as part of a double header in San Francisco.

All tickets purchased for the August 9 game can be refunded by mail or at the Olympic Stadium ticket office effective next Monday. All customers can also exchange their August 9 half-price tickets for similar tickets to any remaining home games.
