Expos To Play 22 Games in Puerto Rico
Six in April, Six in May & 10 in July
MONTREAL – The Montreal Expos today confirmed the information released yesterday in Puerto Rico that the club is close to signing an agreement to play 22 regular-season home games at San Juan's Hiram Bithorn Stadium during the 2004 season. The announcement was made by Expos' President, Tony Tavares.
All 22 games will be played before the All-Star break.
The Puerto Rican dates and opponents are as follows:
New York Mets April 9-10-11
Florida Marlins April 13-14-15
Milwaukee Brewers May 18-19-20
San Francisco Giants May 21-22-23
Toronto Blue Jays July 2-3-4
Atlanta Braves July 5-6-7
Pittsburgh Pirates July 8-9-10-11
