TED LILLY ON DISABLED LIST

KERRY LIGTENBERG RELEASED

TORONTO – The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have place LHP TED LILLY on the 15-day disabled list backdated to March 25 and have released RHP KERRY LIGTENBERG.

TED LILLY has yet to pitch for Toronto this spring after suffering from left shoulder tendinitis. The 29 year old left handed pitcher was 12-10 last season for Toronto with a 4.07 ERA.

KERRY LIGTENBERG appeared in eight games this spring for Toronto and was 1-0 with a 4.50 ERA. Last season the 33 year old was 1-6 with three saves and a 6.38 ERA in 57 appearances.
